Monitored Intruder and Panic Attack Alarms
Intruder alarms are designed to be an effective crime deterrent, to detect genuine incidents of forced entry, unauthorised access and personal attack, and to generate an effective response should any of these happen.
Control Panels and Keypads
The control panel and keypad are the brains of the intruder alarm, performing a number of critical functions, such as monitoring of all detection devices, setting and un-setting of the alarm, controlling sounders and signalling and providing power and battery backup to system.
Detectors and Sensors
Intruder detectors and sensors are designed to detect when someone is attempting to enter (perimeter) and when someone is within (trap), a protected area. Siren Alarms provides a range of hard-wired and wireless protection devices to suit almost any environment, utilising infra red, microwave, vibration and sound sensing technologies.
Sounders and Signalling
Sounders and signalling devices communicate the current condition of the alarm on-site and remotely to an alarm receiving centre. With a blue strobe and a 110dBA alarm, the sounder indicates when the premises are opened and closed, if there is a mains power failure, and when the alarm is activated. This is critical for a key holder and the Police when they respond to an alarm activation.
Personal Attack Alarms
Personal attack alarms utilise hard wired and wired personal attack switches, either by using a fixed, or portable transmitter to deliberately activate the intruder alarm. With double action activation and anti-tamper protection for reliable operation.
Smoke Security
Smoke Security systems are detector activated to provide protection from the moment an intruder alarm is activated until the arrival of a key holder and the Police at the premises. In seconds, a dense, harmless fog deters and disorientates intruders, protecting your property and minimising losses.
There are 3 levels of Intruder Alarms.
ENTRY LEVEL INTRUDER ALARMS
A typical entry level intruder alarm would be designed to generate confirmed alarm activations. In the event of an alarm activation the system sends a signal to an alarm receiving centre so that a key holder, and if necessary the Police can respond. This could apply to small commercial or large residential premises. Such a system would comply to EN Standards Grade 2.
MID LEVEL INTRUDER ALARMS
A typical mid level intruder alarm would be designed to generate confirmed alarm activations, and could provide basic access control. In the event of an alarm activation, the system uses secure monitoring to send a signal to an alarm receiving centre so that a key holder, and if necessary the Police can respond. This could apply to schools and offices. Such a system would comply to EN Standards Grade 3.
TOP LEVEL INTRUDER ALARMS
A typical top level intruder alarm would be designed to generate confirmed alarm activations and could provide extensive access control. In the event of an alarm activation, the system uses secure monitoring with radio GSM back-up to send a signal to an alarm receiving centre so that a key holder, and if necessary the Police can respond. Such a system could include a smoke security system, and could help you manage security for multiple sites. This could apply to banks, or a chain of retail outlets. Such a system would comply with EN Standards Grade 3.
